S&T Bank Appoints Bill Jones as Senior Vice President and Consumer and Business Support Center Manager

INDIANA, Pa., Nov. 23, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- S&T Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: STBA), a full-service financial institution with branch locations in 10 Pennsylvania counties, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Jones to senior vice president and consumer and business support center manager.  In this role, Jones is responsible for planning, directing and controlling the bank's consumer loan, Visa and small business lending activities.  He is also developing a portfolio management system (portfolio risk advisor) for the small business lending area.

Jones has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.  While at S&T Bank, he has held the roles of vice president and consumer loan support center manager; vice president and retail lending manager; and vice president and loan officer.  Prior to this, he served as vice president and loan department manager at Homer City State Bank.  

Jones holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Clarion University.  He graduated from the Pennsylvania Banker's Association's Commercial Lending School and School of Banking at Bucknell University.
